Greetings Family,

Here is a place we can begin to memorialize our ancestors and ourselves.  From a few counties in North Carolina, we have spread around the world.  By looking back through DNA and family stories, we have gotten a look at the ancestors we never knew.

Anyone doing genealogical research on African-Americans soon discovers the brick wall of slavery.  As hard as we try, our vision before 1870 is clouded by secrets and lies.  Before the advent of DNA for research, our only sources were a few hidden records and family stories.  The problem with family stories is that our people had no interest in retelling the horrors of slavery.

But there are stories out there.  We have all heard a few, and we each have our own story.  Please take this opportunity to share your stories.  Join our team and add your stories to the blog page. Select the “Register” button on the right.

Our Stories are worth telling and worth remembering.
